Hundreds of years ago, a cluster of stars seemingly fell from the sky, creating temporary chaos among early settlers in a small town. The utter brilliance of each spectral light destroyed anything it came into contact with, leaving nothing more than a pile of ash. From beneath the debri, otherworldly beings surfaced. Locals tend to describe them as creatures of massive size, harboring deep auburn eyes, pale skin, strange physical deformities and hard-to-stomach voices that could be heard from afar. They claimed that they had come for a specific reason, but when a boy asked, they didn't answer. The boy asked again and again. "We call ourselves 'The Great Ones.' We have plans for you all." It is said that they disappeared after that day, only to be replaced with strange humans three days later.
Little is known after this point, though. The mysterious story of this town has faded into legend and has multiple ending.
Current Storyline
There has been a recent spike in the number of Heir discoveries in America and the government has been having trouble concealing the issue from the public. Putting it in their own hands, an institute is built to hide the truth and force any chance of control onto the Heir population. Months pass, and the institute seems to serve it's purpose. Heirs are no longer on the streets and have been cooperating enough to undergo testing for government research. The town is too quiet, perhaps.
