Wandering Around

Calesta wandered around the overly large building, getting lost countless times. She wondered if she would actually stay here or even why she did agree to stay here. She found herself in a large room with bunches of tables and seats. Looking around curiously she slightly noticed that she hadn't seen anyone around this morning really besides a few cleaning people. As she stood thinking for a moment smells of cooking food hit her nose as it wafted over her from the back of the large room. Her stomache growled, she realized how hungry she was not to mention how hungry the small kitten would probably be.

Bardem had came to the cafeteria earlier than he used to. The past few days were a bit stressful for him and he realized that he hadn't spent much time indulging in the simple pleasures of his favorite foods. He quickly scooped up a standard dark blue tray from the cafeteria counter and made his way over to the buffet section. If there were only one thing Bardem could positively comment on about the Institute, it would be its delicious assortment of properly cooked meals. Just as Bardem made his way over to the chocolate pudding, he could see someone slowly walking through the wide entrance arch. Ah, so she found her way all the way over here. That's good, I guess.

"Calesta!" Bardem waved, smirking slightly. "I was just about to come and find you." He then turned to ask one of the cafeteria staff members to give him a few large scoops of pudding.

Calesta looked over to him as she heard her name. She was starting to warm up to him after how nice he had been although that also made hwe feel slightly on edge, she didn't feel she had a reason to distrust him. She walked over to him grabbing a blue tray like he had mimicing his action so she too could obtain some food, some for the small cat she left in her room.
"Good morning" She quietly said so he could hear her but not loud enough for anyone to be sure she actually spoke. She eyed a piece of ham that she wanted to give to the kitten.

Bardem watched carefully as Calesta reacted to his cheerful greeting. She still seemed a bit nervous, but at least she made the effort to be polite, responding quietly. Bardem could understand how she felt and, for a moment, remembered experiencing the same sort of feelings when he first came to the Institute. He then noticed Calesta fixated on the meat. "Go ahead...take it. Silverware is over here." He pointed to the other side of where she just picked up her tray. "You should try the pudding. It's the best." Bardem then chuckled softly, raising a spoonful of chocolate heaven to his mouth. "Yum."
